Collection of personal data by YouTube
- In its judgement of 5 June 2018, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled http://curia.europa.eu/juris/document/document.jsf?text=&docid=202543&pageIndex=0&doclang=DE&mode=req&dir=&occ=first&part=1&cid=298398 that the operator of an Instagram page is also responsible for the processing of personal data together with Facebook; this also applies analogously to operators of a YouTube channel in conjunction with Google.
- When you visit our YouTube channel, Google collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as the operator of the YouTube channel, with statistical information about the use of the YouTube channel. Google provides more information on this under the following link: Privacy Policy - Privacy Policy & Terms of Use - Google.
- The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Google Ireland Limited and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. What information Google receives and how it is used is described by Google in general terms in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact Google and on the settings options for adverts. The data usage guidelines are available at the following link Privacy Policy - Privacy Policy & Terms of Use - Google
- Google does not conclusively and clearly state how it uses the data from visits to YouTube channels for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the YouTube channel are assigned to individual users, how long Google stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Google channel is passed on to third parties, and we are not aware of this.
- When you access a YouTube channel, the IP address assigned to your end device is transmitted to Google. Google also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. ‘unique identifiers’); this may enable Google to assign IP addresses to individual users.
- If you are currently logged in to Google/Google as a user, a cookie with your YouTube/Google ID will be stored on your device. This enables Google to recognise that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other YouTube pages. YouTube buttons integrated into websites enable Google to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your YouTube profile. This data can be used to offer you customised content or advertising.
- If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Google/YouTube or deactivate the ‘stay signed in’ function, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser. This will delete Google information that can be used to directly identify you. This allows you to use our YouTube channel without revealing your YouTube/Google ID. If you access interactive functions on the site (like, comment, share, etc.), a YouTube login screen will appear. Once you have logged in, you will once again be recognisable to Google as a specific user.
- Information on how you can manage or delete existing information about you can be found on the following Google support pages: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de#infodelete

Further information can be found at: https://privacy.google.com/businesses/processorterms/mccs/
- The transfer and further processing of users' personal data to third countries, such as the USA, and the associated potential risks for users cannot be ruled out by me/us as the operator of the site.
